picture books

I love picture books and I collect them as mentor texts, sentimental objects, and art/inspiration.

Before anyone asks: no, I don't have children. I bought these for me.

Click here for picture book recommendations! Just because I don't own a personal copy of a picture book (yet) doesn't mean I don't love it!

special collection: Christmas

Christmas books were my first picture book collection. Before I started my first librarian job, before I started writing picture books (and before I started studying for conversion to Judaism, obviously), I had a collection of Christmas-themed picture books. It started with the books my mom used to read to me and my sister on Christmas Eve and grew from there.

This collection is incomplete.
