The first thing you see when you walk in the door is the doll shelf. At a glance, you can see there are all kinds of dolls here. Do you want to look closer? Or do you want to see what's on the desk? … or in the curio cabinet? You also notice there's a smallish bookshelf by the window.
Hey, what's playing on the TV?
The closet door is closed.
Do you want to peek inside?
There are several dolls of all different kinds sitting on the shelf: American Girl dolls (Paloma), Asian ball-jointed resin dolls (Ichīro and Kohaku), vinyl mechanical jointed dolls (Nene and Nanami), and Licca-chan dolls (Kana, Hoshi and Miel). There isn't a speck of dust on them; they look like they've been played with recently.
Creepily, there is also a 60cm doll in pieces in a box next to the shelf. That's unsettling.
There's a sewing machine on the kotatsu but it doesn't look like it's been used for awhile.
Over on the desk, there's a stack of unpublished picture book manuscripts, a notebook full of poems, and a folder labeled "MY OCS" stuffed with loose papers.
I left my laptop open. You peek at the tabs: ocs: rainycity: M/T: daemon AU, longreads | Recent Entries, Bookmark Manager.
You open the drawer. Inside, you find an address book and some stamps.
There's a collection of picture books and Judaica on the bookshelf.
